Warning…SPOILER ALERT!
7 awesome reasons why you MUST go watch the new Captain America movie:
- Captain America and Black Widow (Need I say more?): Both Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are just gorgeous to look at. So why not spend two hours and 15 minutes staring at their perfection? Plus, their skintight uniforms don’t hurt.
- Action. Action. Action: For those movie goers who love action, this movie has plenty. Within the first 20 minutes, you are left gripping the edge of your seat with white-knuckles, waiting for what will happen next. Now for those of you who don’t like action, I don’t know why you would be interested in a superhero movie anyways.
- New characters. Between the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we get to see new faces along with those we already know. The Falcon comes as a surprise right at the climax of the movie, making his emergence into the series that much greater. And the Winter Soldier’s back story is just as shocking.
- Samuel L. Jackson (Come on): Any role he plays is always a pleasure to watch. But Nick Fury is a character with power, mystery, trust and honor. This movie highlights all these characteristics perfectly and enhances the viewer’s experience all the more.
- Flawless acting: To no surprise, the acting in this movie alone is worth the watch. Even if you despise Marvel and all the superhero movies, the cast of Captain America: The Winter Soldier does a phenomenal job at convincing the audience that they are real characters. From the secret of Agent 13 to the trust between Evans and Johansson, you can just see how gifted these actors truly are.
- Brawn and beauty: Though this ties into point number one, it’s always great to see an actress who is both gorgeous and badass. The Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, is a role model for all girls and women (despite her past engagement to the KGB). She is intelligent, sexy, strong and dependent. The Black Widow is the true definition and brawn and beauty.
- SHIELD is HYDRA and HYDRA is SHIELD: Without giving the plot away, the way the writers tie in the first Captain America to this new sequel is both perfect and shocking. I don’t think anyone was expecting this- not even Nick Fury.
