Stony Brook Men’s Basketball Team clutches their first ever NCAA bid on Saturday, March 12 after beating Vermont, 80-74.
This was the Seawolves’ fifth appearance in the finals of the American East Championships in the past six years.
Last year, Great Dane’s Peter Hooley drained a buzzer-beating three pointer snatching the bid away from the Seawolves, 51-50 Albany.
Highlights include game winning plays by “Mr. Everywhere” Jameel Warney with over 39 total points. Warney is on the 2016 NBA Draft radar, ranked 148.
