Slashed tires, snorting cocaine and forgery. I’m Rylie Bernard, and this is the Crime Report for Monday, Oct. 12 to Sunday, Oct. 18, here on Indie Air.

Just before midnight on Monday, Oct. 12 at Chapin Apartments Building G, there was a false fire alarm due to an accidental pull station activation. Fire marshals responded, and a student referral was issued.

At 11:20 A.M. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Wagner College of Roosevelt Quad, there was an unauthorized use of an ID card. The case remains open.

Just after 5 P.M. on Wednesday, Oct 14, at the Ambulatory Care Pavilion, there was a case of leaving the scene of an accident. The case remains open.

After 1 A.M. On Thursday, Oct. 15, a person drove on the sidewalk near the South Gate on Marburger Drive. The driver was under the influence of alcohol, and had a previous DWI. The driver was arrested on felony DWI charges.

Just after 6:30 P.M. the same day, in the Student Activities Center, there was a possession of a forged instrument and larceny. Three other accounts of larceny occurred at the SAC in the following five minutes.

Just after 9 A.M. on Friday, Oct. 16, near the Earth and Space Sciences building, a vehicle was found with two slashed tires. The case remains open.

Just after 5 P.M. on Saturday, Oct. 17, the walls of a dorm room in Schick College of Kelly Quad were slashed with a knife. The case remains open.

Just before 6 P.M. on the same day, a subject was arrested at the Infirmary. The subject was snorting cocaine and had attempted to destroy the evidence.

Just after 1 A.M. on Sunday, Oct. 18, a female patient was reported trying to leave the University Hospital with an IV still attached. When officers arrived, they found the parties screaming, and a male subject shoved an officer. At least one of them was arrested.

Just before 5 P.M. on the same day, an RA from Greeley College of Roosevelt Quad reported that a student says she was forcibly touched by another student near the Student Union. The case is open. This is likely the crime that Campus Safety issued an advisory about Sunday evening.
