Everyone loves shiny, chip-free, clean nail. There are three ways to achieve that. One is to go to a nail salon every week to get them done, but that can cost up to 20 dollars just for regular, no-frills nail polish. Or, you can opt for acrylic nails, but they are expensive and require regular fill-ins, making them hard to maintain.
Gel nail polish manicures last longer than regular nail polish because of the special type of polish and light-enduced drying technique. It also isn’t as damaging to the nail as acrylic nails are. An added bonus is that gel drying time is cut down to a 1/3 because you need a specific light to cure or set gel polish. There are two different types of lights on the market. One is a UV(ultraviolet) light, which can cause skin damage just like its bigger sister, the tanning bed. If you use UV light be sure to use sun screen or special gloves that protect your hands. LED lights also cure the nail polish and is safer for you skin. I’ve seen 3 weeks with no chipping or fading with my gel manicure.
There is a way to get a shiny, chip-free manicure that lasts for weeks on your schedule and in the comfort of your own home. Red Carpet Manicure is a Long Island-based gel nail polish company that offers nail polishes and other products that lets you bring a professional-style gel manicure from the salon to your home.
The directions are fairly straightforward. At first glance, it seems like a lot to read, but pictures are also provided. As for the nail products themselves, I loved how easy and fast the application was. it only took a few minutes to paint each hand and the nail color was immediately dry after curing it with LED light. I loved the nail colors– they’re saturated and didn’t get dull. My manicure lasted for about three weeks before it started to chip. But, if you get tired of the same color, the removal is easy and takes seconds. The best part is you don’t have to pay $20+ at a salon to get your nails done!
Red Carpet Manicure has starter kits that contain everything you need to do your nails, including a LED light, nail polish prep, remover, base and top coat as well as a classic red nail polish. The starter kits vary from 59.99 to 79.99.
Red Carpet Manicure has a bunch of colors to choose from in matte, opaque and sparkle varieties. The nail colors are priced on the market at 9.99. The prep, base and top coat only cost about 3.99 individually. They also have multiple kits which go for 29.99, that contain three nail polishes, decals and nails tools.
I definitely recommend Red Carpet Manicure. Whether you’re a nail salon fanatic who goes every week, or you’re just tired of your nails chipping 10 minutes after you do them, Red Carpet Manicure won’t disappoint you!
