On Wednesday and Thursday, there were four incidents of criminal mischief. The first occurred at Weschester Hall, another in the Psychology A Alcove in which window glass was removed, a third at Schick College involving an exit sign hanging from the ceiling, and the final one in Psychology A 310. The final incident was originally classified as criminal tampering, but was changed to mischief when it was discovered that a student had unplugged a refrigerator, invalidating an experiment.
Last Friday, there were six marijuana-related calls. One instance did not result in any punishment. However two instances lead to a total of six referrals, and another two each led to one arrest. The final instance was unfounded.
There were also three larceny-related calls on Friday. After last week’s thefts, another catalytic converter was stolen in Tabler Quad. Items were also taken from a locker in the Student Recreation Center. The third claim was unfounded.
On Saturday, a student was referred at Greeley College when they provided officers on scene with false information about a medical emergency. Later, a male was arrested at the LIRR station due to public lewdness towards a group of people. Finally, a referral was issued at the Infirmary due to an ABC violation involving the possession of one keg and two cases of beer.
