Vermont currently has a budding secession movement. According to a Zogby poll, one in five U.S. adults believe a state should be allowed to secede. So, could it happen?

At Stony Brook home games, we just show our student IDs and go sit in the student section and try to see over the cheerleaders and drown out the screaming frat brothers. This was a tad different.

If Zurawik is correct, the choice could cause some waves at NBC News with some key players. Nobody can argue with the credentials of Koppel (25+ year host of ABC's Nightline), but many within NBC News thought they might become the next steward of the great Sunday morning news show.

As a little kid who spent most of his day in his room playing with either Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures or my Pirate-themed Lego sets, I feel like this new phenomenon of pirates being in the news on a regular basis should have been a development I welcomed.

In this case The Lamron at Geneseo, and the Pipe Dream at Binghamton.

I came across this article on CNN, it was their headline this morning.

Here’s the argument for retiring his number; he is as synonymous with those ’98-’01 teams as the guys in our previous lists have been. And he made huge contributions to those teams.

Alright, so, when I wrote on Friday I’d be back tomorrow, I meant back after the weekend. So, let’s get into the Possible, But Not Likely players to get their number retired.

So, today we’re going to look at the players who are Likely to have their numbers retired. These players all have impressive career achievements, and are all players that most Yankees fans would love to see enshrined in Monument Park.

What happens if the Yankees run out of numbers?

I’d assume they couldn’t play games without numbers. And the Yankees keep churning out retired numbers (16, the most in MLB).
